Came here with my family during our trip!
Good:
- Fast in and out! We placed our order and could self serve the toppings a la carte
- The flavor of the poke was great! Not the best I’ve ever had but it was really fresh and tasty and filling
- Good bang for buck
Bad:
- No seating indoors
- It’s a little chaotic and busy while ordering, the service is a bit rushed
Overall I understand why this is so popular!

Poke was excellent and making my own customized bowl was pretty easy. About $20 for a good sized bowl including the toppings. We didn't see any place to eat in or near the shop so we just ate in the car. Will definitely be back!

It was our first time here so we didn't really know how it worked. Staff could have been a bit more friendly and helpful. Poke was delicious. Toppings are 7.99/lbs additionally. Got a 2 scoop poke with some toppings and paid almost $17 (I think there is an automated service charge included).

My husband and I stopped in here to get some poke and were so happy with what we got. We got sushi rice, he got three scoops and I got two. We tried the Maui onion, spicy ahi and the other spicy ahi. The self serve topping bar was awesome as were the sauces. I highly recommend if you want fresh fish poke!!!

Sitting in the car right outside the Fish Express after mopping the BEST poke I have ever had in my life. Loved everything about it. From the sushi rice, to the fresh poke, to the toppings bar, and the service. The poke on Maui has to step it up now, I have a new standard 😅

My favorite poke place on Kauai. Everything is so fresh, so tasty, and the selection is generally great (in the morning and early afternoon). The dried and smoked marlin and ahi is top notch as well. You can tell how fresh the fish is if you get a packet of sashimi. Prices are reasonable. Toppings are an extra 7.99 flat (as of 8/2023) if you already have a poke bowl, so definitely load up on those. Don't forget to grab a musubi at checkout too..

Beach and Poke all day long. This was my lunch every day, for a week. Fresh fish, Salmon, Ahi, Hamachi, prepped different ways. Great Poke place. I will definitely be back when I’m back to this Island.
