Windmill Farm - Dining & Carvery

Sian was our waitress and she was very warm, welcoming and friendly. She helped us find a table to cater for our pushchair so we could tuck it out the way and checked on us periodically to ensure we were ok and had everything we need. In fact all of the staff that we encountered were lovely, friendly and helpful and they go the extra mile to make our dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. My wife and I both had the beyond burger and they were very nice, well cooked and tasty. I then had the giant éclair and it didn't disappoint, always very nice. Overall I can't sing the praises of Sian and the team enough, they do an amazing job and we will definitely be returning again and again and the 20% bluelight card discount is a nice bonus 😊

Me and my brother went to windmill farm this evening! We had a lovely Carvery and we were served by Lauren she was so polite and really lovely! Ask how our meals went and when we had dessert too and ask us if we needed anything else which is lovely and you don’t always get this in restaurants! So I just wanted to say thank you Lauren for a nice experience we really enjoyed our meals and your services you brought to me and my brother! much this evening! Really appreciated it! Xx

We are a group of 14 family members of ages 3 to 56 years ..sometimes more as we bring more family ! We regularly come for Sunday carvery and occasional week day visits. We have always found ALL staff are always polite and very accommodating, the food is always plentiful and tasty (deducted 1 star as sometimes and only sometimes the Brussels are a little hard for our liking). The portion sizes on all meals and starters are more than enough and the cakes are absolutely AMAZING! The added bonus is you can take them away and any food you can't finish and they are well boxed. Yes it can be busy but that just shows how good it is and its definitely worth a little wait if you do have one. I can't really say anything bad because in the last year we have been coming its just been perfect for all of us. This weekend was mega busy but they opened up a function room and set up a second kitchen rather than turn people away and yet as busy as it was the staff were still amazing as was the food. We had my daughter's wedding here and had a really lovely time. Alice, Jade and the team did an amazing job setting up and looking after us all throughout the day, thank you so much! We stayed over also and had several family meals together over the following few days. A really great place to stay with friendly, helpful staff who made our time here really nice. I absolutely love this pub! Staff are so friendly. The food is delicious and there is a brilliant selection. We visited a few weeks ago and there was quite a rude lady in front of us requesting all of her money back and the staff were very patient with her when she was being rude. Well done! Also offer blue light discount which is great!

Absolutely delicious food. We all had mixed grill. Service was spot on. Second time of visiting and wasnt as good. My son had mixed grill again. Chicken was missing. However, this was rectified straight away. I decided to go for the tikka masala. It was nice but the pappadum was chewy not crispy and the naan bread was hard.
