Ask Italian

Always enjoy the food at ASK Italians, they're always met with great service. This one however I went to during the early evening when it was fairly empty; yet the waitress chose to seat us at a table next to the wall. This came with its problems that there was no elbow room to eat. After voicing our issues she kindly changed our seats. Other than this the restaurant is brilliant with views onto the Bradford pool

What an unexpected surprise. I've not been here for a very long time, and now a regret it. I wish I'd gone back sooner. Firstly, I'll waitress Imogen was amazing and we asked for recommendations which she loved and recommended the calazoni and a pasta dish. We had the pasta dish, the manzo then my partner decided to have a pizza stormboli with added salami and pancetta. The manzo was full of flavour ,so delicious, stormboli at the extra toppings my partner said it was the best pizza he's ever had and he is the fussiest man. For side we just have some chips , roasting hot. Not greasy at all. Perfect size for side for 2. I have to say the service we received from Imogen was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, helpful. Great communication fun. Also second staff member very chatty talking to my partner but it's top again. Great communication and customer service. And on the way out my partner the fussiest man on earth complemented the man that made his pizza so well done to ask. Gutted on returning visit... We noticed a different chef in the kitchen, the one we had last time was sat having his break... But the meal was ok just not as good. We had the same meal my manzo wasn't as tasty something was missing... in comparison to the last picture think it was the sauce... I'm no chef so I can't tell you, The overall meal was ok I would return on the first visit alone, This was my daughter's first visit sadly she wouldn't return.

Still a great place to dine out. Been many times since moving to Lincoln. Food has always been tasty, in an ideal location on the brayford waterfront. Great service from the waitress who served us, pleasant and willing to strike up a conversation. Nice choice of non-alcoholic drinks/cocktails which was nice. Thoroughly recommend the N'Duja Bites and the From Calabria with Love pizza if available.
