I only come in here for a pint or two on a Saturday lunch but I always enjoy the beers and the atmosphere.

A good little pub along the waterside, if you know where it is 😁
Nice friendly staff who served some good beer - even with a broken arm 😁
The TV was on but no sound, but still managed to watch the rugby.
There were several areas inside to sit and about four tables outside by the water, very nice in the sunshine for a quiet pint 😁

Great location on the river just away from the city centre.
Didn’t eat , sat outside for a couple of beers.
Staff were helpful, the facilities need a wizards touch.

Nice pub near the river. There are tables in the front and a small courtyard to the rear of the pub.
The staff are friendly and the food comforting.
Prices are pretty reasonable.

Lovely helpful landlord and landlady. Even found out what bus we needed to get to hospital. Fabulous posh fish finger sandwich. Friendly place with lovely atmosphere

Haven't been in here for good few years but decided to go for lunch whilst up town as under new management AND we had lunch and the food was amazing.Deffinately our lunchtime venue now.

I had the pleasure of visiting this pub and was truly blown away by the warm welcome from the landlady and landlord. Their genuine hospitality created a fantastic atmosphere that instantly made me and my family feel like regulars. The food was absolutely amazing! Each dish was a burst of flavor, clearly prepared with care. A delightful experience all around, thanks to the welcoming hosts and the mouthwatering food.

Outrageous someone who thinks they can buy chips elsewhere and eat on their premises even though they bought drinks, when the pub serves their own gorgeous chips and meals
And management here are lovely
As for flies outside that’s out of their control just go inside if that’s the case don’t slate them
Great pub friendly team good food
And no I do not work here
Hate seeing businesses being slated
When your experience is nothing but good for this pub
