Del Toro Steak House

Was given a voucher for Del Toro so we went on Sunday afternoon & I can't wait to go back! The ribs for starter were literally fall off the bone tender, steaks were perfectly cooked (med) & all the veg, potatoes (oh my, the champ!) & sauces etc were so tasty & again perfectly cooked. My husband & son both had sticky toffee pudding for dessert & I had to beg for a spoonful as they didn't want to part with any! 10/10 for food & service.. well done Del Toro! 👏

Drove from limavady to bring my teens to the leisure plex. We came in for dinner afterwards. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend! Fast, friendly service. Very helpful and fond considerate of allergies. The fish tacos o the healthy eating menu is absolutely delicious 😋. Kids had burgers and fajitas and loved everything. Oh and the music is fantastic! Can't remember ever being in a restaurant bopping to Dylan, GnR, tom petty and Bowie.❤️❤️❤️

*I’m ALWAYS on the hunt for a good steak *Friendly and knowledgeable staff *I ordered the 8oz rump fillet/medium and tried the Parmesan/Truffle sauce and added in a side of ribs and champ *I had a DECENT pour of the house red (merlot) *BEST steak I’ve had since moving here 2 years ago from Iowa, USA: -perfect char -perfect temperature -great tobacco onions -the truffle in the sauce was NOT overpowering and went well with the steak and the champ -the ribs were good, but didn’t hold a candle to the steak -the charred veggies were tasty, with a bite to them, which I prefer *Finished off with a sticky toffee pudding that was also tasty *Had a nice chat with an employee Lindsay (sp) outside as we were leaving, discussing our mutual love for ranch dressing. I’ll have to remember to drop off some Hidden Valley Ranch packets to her when I come back from the US in September. :) Overall best dining experience in 2.5 years.
