Los Dos Potrillos

Visiting from Miami, we wanted some authentic Mexican food and we found the spot. The ambiance, the smell, the host, the waiter, all kind and quick service. The food was delicious and a big portion. All that food was reasonably priced. I ended up asking for a box to go. This is now added to our list when we visit Denver Co.

This is the first time going to Los Dos Potrillos restaurant. I Loved this place !! We had 6 people in our party and were seated immediately. We had chips and salsa waiting for us when we were seated. All portions that everyone had were large. I had the Tacos al carbon 13.95- it came with 3 street taco size tacos. It was a large enough portion that I ordered 3 more tortillas and had plenty for 6 street tacos. Everyone’s dishes looked delicious. They make homemade guacamole table side. The other items ordered were seafood tacos ( fish and shrimp) 16.25 fish tacos ( 14.25 ) crispy chicken Chile rellenos- 14.25 and the traditional chili rellenos- 14.25 The service was great and the food was hot and delicious. I Would highly recommend Los Dos Potrillos to anyone looking for great Mexican food.

First of all we drove by on our way to McDonald's and I noticed a nice lady outside washing windows at 9 in the morning. ( clean restaurant equals happiness) and my daughter says from the back seat what's that AMAZING smell. Well shoot its got to be that restaurant right there yeppp we were right 😋. We decided this was going to be our breakfast place for the morning. We went in and it's a beautifully decorated ethnic Mexican restaurant and there is employees cleaning every where bonus. They sat us right away super nice people. Brenda came and brought us warm tortilla chips, took our order she was Amazing. I was soo excited when I see the delicious looking food that came out sooo fast. I had the smothered breakfast burrito yummy, my husband had the Mexican omelet also delicious, and my daughter got the colorful shrimp tacos. BTW they serve breakfast and lunch dinner all day. All Delicious meals. We highly recommend this AMAZING place! 10 🌟

If service would have been better than it would be 5 stars from me. We think our sever was having a bad night, but overall, the food was freaking delicious! We moved from Texas a couple months ago and have been worried we wouldn't get the same level of Mexican food but clearly Los Dos Potrillos proved us wrong.

Awesome authentic Mexican restaurant with anything you could want on the menu. Plenty of drink options with a long list of good strong margaritas. Salsa is delicious and has good spice, if too spicy they also offer a mild to go with your chips. Love the atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you haven't been there before.

With so many small businesses and organizations shuttered due to the pandemic, it's refreshing to see this place thriving! It's next to impossible to just walk in for dinner and that's because there's always a wait and a line due to awesome food and friendly service! This neighborhood restaurant, tucked away into a strip mall on Holly and County Line Road in the south suburbs of Denver, always delivers a great dining experience. It's always buzzing with activity and bustling wait staff - there's rarely a single empty table to be seen! If I had one complaint? The delicious salsa is a touch too spicy. (I'm a wuss and like flavor over heat but all the other customers never seem to mind!)

This was my first time dining here but definitely won't be my last! The food was fantastic, the service was good and the prices were very very reasonable! It was also very clean! I went in with a pessimistic attitude about it but came out extremely impressed! I recommend it to everyone that is hungry for Mexican food! I THINK ITS THE BEST AROUND!
