Bistro By The Park

Fabulous Restaurant My Sister & I recently ate at the Bistro by the Park Hale Village. It was around 6.30 on a Sunday evening & we both fancied a Sunday Roast dinner. Most places had stopped serving by late afternoon. I called the Bistro and they said although their kitchen closed at 7pm on a Sunday they would serve us. The menu was very varied and reasonably priced but I had my heart set on a roast dinner and was NOT disappointed. The portion was very generous and served with plenty of Delicious gravy which is what I had requested as I hate a dry meal. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the roast potatoes were scrumptious. The roast lamb just melted in our mouths. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The service & food was exceptional. There was a nice ambiance and plenty of parking space right outside the door. Without hesitation I can highly recommend this restaurant to any age group.

My daughter & son in law treated my husband and I to a birthday meal here. The staff ensured it was a real treat, even sang happy birthday to me!! The food and ambience were amazing. My husband's steak was the best ever, my sea bass was delicious, son in laws calamari was perfect and my daughter who is coeliac was beautifully catered for. The haloumi starter was great too and the generous portion of celebratory cake complete with candles was a charming touch which was appreciated. Prices were reasonable, service exceptional. Can thoroughly recommend.
