Visited my son who is at university. Due to the great reviews we decided to pop in for food and coffee and we were not disappointed. A lovely lady served us, nothing was too much trouble, the food was yummy and plenty of it. Thanks for being so welcoming and taking the time to talk. We shall definitely be back during our next visit to Liverpool

Stumbled upon this cafe today while looking for a place for nice breakfast, coffee and cakes! And we were glad we decided to go there! The service, food and atmosphere were spot on! We ordered the full English, toast with eggs, a latte and flat white! Eggs were cooked perfectly with a runny yolk! The aroma and taste of coffee were both great; the barista knew what they were doing :) They also have a great selection of cakes and pastries ! We got one chocolate truffle and chocolate caramel fudge cake slices to go and enjoyed later with our dinner! The cakes were moist and decadent ! You can grab a table and go to the counter to place your order! Staff is nice and friendly! Toilets was quite clean too! Had a little chat with one of the owners Christina and it definitely came across they put their heart and soul in what they do. They put a lot of TLC in their service and quality! Seen her also walking around the cafe talking to customers and making sure everyone is happy with their order and enjoying! Thank you Christina and George for what you do here! We will be back … would definitely recommend this - a great location in the heart of city centre (in the lane opposite the old M&S store) Also Thank you for our little complimentary rocky road cake slice that had a hint of orange flavour in it and definitely went down a treat. Overall great experience :)

Popped in for a quick lunch. Excellent friendly service, had a generously sized ham & cheese toastie with chips & an oat milk latte which was really good (although note it costs 50p extra for a non-dairy milk) I will definitely be back in future to try some cake. This would be a good spot for a group breakfast or brunch if you are in Liverpool for the weekend. I’m writing this at 1230pm on a Sunday & it’s nowhere near as busy as it ought to be for the quality & location. Get yourself down here!

Well I came across this place one morning whilst looking for a coffee in a place that wasn’t full. It is clearly waiting to be discovered and what a discovery. The decor is ok and some of the furnishings especially the padded bench’s look tired which isn’t a fantastic first impression. But the service is excellent beyond levels that you could expect in a big name coffee shop. The coffee and food is really good too. Very impressed. Hopefully a business that will thrive because it deserves to
