Bhs Cafe

First time visiting Rococo this week. It was one of the best coffe shops I've ever been. Firstly the staff were incredibly. Really friendly and helpful. Then the place itself is stunning and a lot bigger than expected. The old rustic fire places and furniture feel like going back in time and I loved both floors. Lastly, the food. The food was reasonably priced and looking at the tables around me to see what they ordered I couldnt decide what to get. The sandwiches and the bacon and bree jacket potato looked incredible. The vegan brownies were also some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be going back for more.

First time tried this coffee shop as was suggested. Opted for a chicken Caesar salad and a cappuccino. The salad was very tasty, a good size and extremely fresh. Very reasonably priced too for a city centre establishment. The place is very quirky with plenty of seating set out over two floors and with little rooms offset from main eating areas. Definitely worth a visit. Not too noticable from the main high street, based on Lord Street ,as up a flight of stairs through a door you wouldn't notice. Will be visiting here again for sure.

Delicious fresh food and coffee. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Requested to change the smoothie recipe slightly and they were happy to provide as per the request. The person even came later to ask if the smoothie was OK. Amazing after sales service too. Slightly expensive though compared to other places but you get what you pay for.

+ the place looks lively, they have different rooms and one of them features a very cosy fireplace + the staff is super friendly and the service was very fast even though the place was quite full - we had the avocado toast, but it was a big disappointment. They serve it with a lot of sweet chilli sauce so you don’t get to feel any other taste besides the one of the sauce. I tried to remove most of the sauce, but the sweet taste was very pregnant and not really what I expect from an avocado toasta with poached eggs…

Ashamed to say that it took me 60 years to get around to visiting Liverpool, but I absolutely loved it. I am now fascinated by the history, the architecture and the vibe. We decided to treat ourselves to a return visit to Rococo on our final day because we loved the coffee so much. I could honestly sit there by the window, coffee in front of me and spend the whole day watching the world go by. Being a bit geeky, I also spent a fair amount of time scanning the high ceiling in awe of the building. I asked one of the staff about the history of the building.and was advised that it once housed Radio Caroline, but had otherwise just been a shop front. But, in my imagination, it was much grander than that .... It kinda summed up Liverpool to me, a beautiful hidden gem

A great place for food and drinks. Love the way original features have been used. Very popular. You can sit and read whilst just having a drink , or something to eat. Cosy furniture with gorgeous chandeliers hanging. Toilets are clean. Well worth a visit. Reward card available to collect a stamp on each visit, then redeem for a free drink once it's complete 😁👍
