Nice little cafe on the edge of the lake. Limited to toasties, sandwiches, ice cream, snacks and drinks. Friendly service, can be busy at weekends and holidays

I love this cafe, great view across the lake while I’m enjoying my coffee. The woman who runs the cafe ( Leah) is lovely, very friendly, helpful, polite. It’s a pity I can’t say the same for the other women who work there. They are the exact opposite, unfriendly and pretty obvious they don’t want to be there. I feel like I’m interrupting them if I ask for anything cos they are usually playing on there phones. Get the strong impression they don’t really like the customers. Spoke to lots of the regulars and they feel the same way. Thankfully we have Leah most of the time. She’s worth ten times whatever the other two are getting paid.

Ice cream, an array of coffee and other hot drinks and snacks served by friendly and cheerful staff.
They sell duck seed as well, which is to feed the ducks a few metres away. An institution for me and boy.
Does get busy during good days, which is fine.

Easily the best coffee in Liverpool and beats the hipster nonsense served up down Lark Lane and along Bold Street. Want a bog standard cappuccino or latte? Just about as good as standing in the KOP. The staff are boss, too; very lovely and always up for a chat. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Lovely coffee, brilliant service staff very friendly and helpful, become a regular and the have seen first hand how much the staff look after the customers is a real community there which is lovely

I take grandson at least once a week to the park we always go into the kiosk I have a coffee and he has Ice cream
