Recently moved to the area and struggled to find a chippy that compared to my old one in old swan, but this one is the best in the area easily.

My usual Saturday evening haunt for curry boiled rice & chips with mushrooms was closed...🙄 So I went to Z Tams, soooo glad I did. The meal was delish !!! The mushrooms were put in a separate tub, no probs there as you get more...mmmmmm I will deffo be going back. Curry boiled rice & chips £3. Mushrooms £2.60 worth every penny 😋😋😋

Love my local chippy. Decent range for veggies. My go to favourites are the vegetable chow mein and spring rolls or chips and mushy peas. HUGE portions. Lovely staff and patrons. You can ring up beforehand to order (advisable because it gets busy). They only take cash, but there's a little cash machine next door outside that you can use.

Finally a decent local chippy, others tried nearer to home just awful.
Very friendly staff, good menu, NOT REHEATED CHIPS.
Only shame is curry sauce nothing special but gravy is 😋
Update.
Ordered small sausage dinner with onion gravy, got sausage dinner with curry, not important in world problems but what I pay 4 is what I should get!?!

Best OK sauce dishes I've had in Liverpool! Absolutely love it. Owners are great people as well. Highly recommend this place, particularly the fried chicken in OK sauce.

Never found a place to beat the young chow fried rice, won ton noodle soup OR salt and pepper chicken! Fresh as always when I came and can almost guarantee the rest of the menu is fantastic!!
