Excellent gastro pub in the heart of Liverpool, yet quite hidden and cozy!
We saw an article in a local newspaper which intrigued us, and decided to book a table and experience for ourselves. Both the food and the service, as well as the feel of the location were really great!! The chef is great and all from starters, to mains and dessert was truly a pleasure to enjoy!! Well done!!
Big positive surprise and certainly a place where we will return!!

Wow what a night. A group of twenty...food was fantastic, served quickly, efficiently, fresh and tasty; no corners were cut due to large number. I highly recommend the muscles. Staff were lovely, polite, warm and welcoming. Venue is brill, it's got a real Cuban vibe and very atmospheric. Many thanks , will definitely visit again.

We just stopped in for a quiet pint here. They were so welcoming. Liverpool was very busy, we'd just seen a band and were sick of the noise and crowds and wanted a quiet conversation. Service was lovely, surroundings pleasant and saw people eating and the food looked good. I don't want to curse the place, but the toilets were spotless and fully stocked. I would definitely go back. But they didn't mind we weren't eating and let us stay as long as we liked. It's a place I will remember as a hidden island of sanity.

This place is great. Food fantastic. Tuna great. Wife just had small plate garlic prawns. Wow. Staff friendly, helpful. Drinks bit overpriced but everything else made up for that. Go to upstairs bar. Fab. You've done well guys. Definitely recommend

Came out to celebrate our lockdown engagement. We were seated in the bar at first which was a bit too loud for us but the manager very kindly moved us upstairs to a quieter area even though they were busy. Food and drinks were beautiful and staff were very attentive and friendly. I will be recommending this place to my friends x

Fantastic bar. There is a really nice, laid back atmosphere. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful. Place is immaculately designed and covid 19 proccedures are clear witbout restricting the atmosphere in any way. The cocktails are some of the best ive had in Liverpool. Will definitely be back.

We made the most of the government discounts and went out for dinner and cocktails... we had the vegan/veggie options and weren't disappointed! The food was perfect portion size and full of flavour. The cocktails were on point! I had the "honey, i kiwi to see you" which was very sweet and presented amazingly and i also had a spiced chai old fashioned instead of a dessert...
Will most definitely be going back.

Amazing. You've really gotta try it, and then go again and again.
The food is spectacular, the staff are really really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere and decor are just ace.
