Great local chippy.
Serves good chips, chinese meals and burgers / kebabs.

Have ordered here about 3 times now and they delivery all the to speke were we live quick delivery I order noodle boxes special and have tried a few of them great choice the yellow bean 1 I had tonight was lovely ,kids order kebabs always great ,can't wait to order my next noodle box.

Absolutely lovely been to every chippy nearby and never had a salt and pepper box so nice and portions were massive 😀

This has to be the best chippy around in South Liverpool at the moment. Food is always lovely and the staff are excellent. Give it a go. Battered salt and pepper chips are a must try.

Got fish and chips twice ,fish was excellent just as good as anywhere chips were clean but most were semi hard chewy that said fish alone was worth it for me oh an it was delivered earlier than expected which was good

Not really a chippy fan since I've always gotten indigestion from it, but the fish & chips are great quality for the price + no feeling ill after :)

Honestly, really nice chippy. Chips aren't too soggy and drenched in oil. Fish was succulent and covered in nice, golden and crispy batter. Only chippy I'd visit once in a while now :)

Had a large fish and chips from Gateacre Fish Bar tonight and it was delicious! In the photo is about half the bag of chips, it was far too much for me so next time I’ll get a regular portion 👍

Partner ordered food last night and rang up to speak with the staff about changing a meal she had ordered wrong the lady on the phone was so friendly said she would sort it for us and not to worry. Received the order 40 minutes after ordering was piping hot and even got a free soup and prawn cracker

Gateacre Fishbar did get in touch about the issues I raised and sorted this out for me. I was really impressed with their customer service. Everyone makes a mistake in their job, it happens, it's how you respond that counts and I'm really impressed with how Gateacre Fishbar dealt with this. I will order again soon now I know how much they care about their product & service.

They forgot my salt & pepper chips. I called and was told that when the driver returns they'll send him back out with the s&p chips... they never turned up, so I had half a tea.
The normal portion of chips we did get were in a soggy bag of wrapping, most greasy chips I've ever seen, wife didn't like the fish. Disappointed as I'd seen good things about Gateacre Fishbar. But doubt I'll order from here again.
