The perfect quaint pub for a relaxing quiet drink whilst in the surrounding area. No negatives or complaints from me. I received an all round excellent service from the staff on shift at the time of visiting. Always clean & tidy pub would visit again and definitely recommend to other friends and family to pay a visit to this lovely little pub 👌🏼😊🍻

WOW! My husband and I are on our honeymoon and wanted to do our own walking tour of famous Beatles spots. While on our way to the Cavern Club we stumbled upon this bar. Steve greeted us with the most genuine smile and kind heart. Within minutes we were hugging, laughing & crying together. He gifted us an incredible Paul McCartney lyrics book he had just bought for his son, once he heard it was our honeymoon he went grabbed the book and said you’re taking this. We’re forever grateful for his kind heart. We feel we will be forever friends and will continue to come back to Liverpool to chat it up with Steve. We love you! Mel & Skye from Austin, TX

I had just arrived in Liverpool and stumbled into this pub based on the good reviews. What I discovered went above and beyond anything I could've imagined. Not just the BEST PUB IN LIVERPOOL, BUT MAYBE ALL OF ENGLAND! Went in for a beer and stayed all day. Steve is an absolute legend. You go in a stranger and leave with a family of friends! If you are traveling in Liverpool, do yourself a favor, GO HERE and ask for Steve!
