Popped in as it was drizzling and had a glass of Rosé. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, saw the menu and decided to book a table to come back for a Sunday roast. Had the chicken, which comes with a side of Scouse and a Yorkshire Pudding. It's like having two dinners on one plate 😊 First time I tried Scouse and it was delicious!! I also had the apple and pear crumble to follow, a big portion too, which was also delicious. Great food, big portions, nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Stopped by this afternoon for a relaxing meal when meeting family docked on the Arcadia cruise ship. Actually didn't see this establishment when looking for somewhere suitable to have a leisurely meal and we were going to the place next door which fortunately was very busy and extremely noisy and so we investigated Nova Scotia, so glad we did. We all enjoyed the delicious food and were surprised at the large portions, too much to eat as we were greedy and had starters and mains! Staff were attentive and helpful, food was prepared together and brought out together so nobody was left waiting. The establishment was very clean too and we thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

Absolute hidden gem, after a walk into town we stopped off here for a few drinks, the Love lane beer was spot on 👌🏻 Service was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble at all, we decided to stay and try one of the roast dinners that looked and smelt amazing, unfortunately we left it too late and they were sold out, totally our fault, we got the scouse & Burger, it was simply amazing, can’t wait to come back here 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Had our breakfast here today for the first time. I had a latte and a walkie walkie (don't remember the exact name 🤣), and my boyfriend had a cup of tea and a full mountie. We both loved the food very much. And I personally like when a restaurant has a limited menu, cause it means that all the dishes are pure quality. The service was quick, and the staff was nice. Can't wait to be back and taste a Sunday roast next time.

Very nice place with very friendly staff who know you after only a few visits. I often come through here on my morning ruck for a tasty oat cap. But I’ll also sometimes sit down for a tasty meal. The staff are super friendly and the food’s quite good. I love halloumi, so I’ve taken a like of to the veggie club and halloumi popcorn. This is just a great place to spend a chill afternoon. Their house lager is also quite a delicious Pilsner.

Called into here whilst out for a weekend walk, and very glad we did. Venue is situated in a great location, with views of the canal, the Museum of Liverpool Life and the Albert Dock. Staff are friendly and attentive, place itself is spotlessly clean with a distinctive industrial vibe. We had brunch here, and food was super tasty and beautifully presented. Flavoured still water available to help yourself to, free of charge. Looking forward to heading back and trying the evening menu at some point. Two breakfasts, two coffees and a tea was around £25, so great value considering the quality of the ingredients. Go, you won't be disappointed
