Aru Sushi

I've been in a few times since this place opened. I've loved it every time. They have all your standard sushi things and they make them well along with some more interesting things which I intend to talk to the chef some more and try some more interesting things. The staff is all very friendly and I get an excited hello each time I come in, and I've had a couple of conversations with the chef about a few different things. Can't ask for much more! I'll be in here quite often.

Restaurant is clean, service is good. Sushi rolls (normal and special) are overpriced and unexceptional. Chocolate lava cake dessert was not very chocolatey and was very small. Restaurant lighting is harsh LED. Zen Sushi is the better choice in Livingston area. Their pricing is better, dining environment is nicer, more parking is available, and sushi is just as good (if not better).

Nice ambient..fresh sushi and excellent Japanese food in the area, service was excellent as well. Went there with my family, the waiters always keep coming to our tables and make sure everything ok. Even the tables next to us waive to the chef said the food was excellent, and he said he was a fisherman. Good job guys, we will definitely come back.

Try the signature dish "sushi pizza"...delicious is an understatement. If you're having sushi a la carte, try it "Aru style." Robbie is a master chef with a vast knowledge of the fish and flavors that he works with. His creativity in the kitchen sets Aru apart from every other sushi spot. The staff is welcoming and generous. The restaurant itself is clean with a comfortable atmosphere and funky music! Welcome to your new favorite restaurant :)

So I placed an order for delivery at 6:10. The app that they use for delivery said it would arrive around like 6:56. My food did not arrive until an hour and half later. I did call the restaurant after an hour and they said the food would be arriving soon. The delivery driver then calls me and after saying hello he feels the need to point out that the total does not include tip. That was extremely unprofessional. The sushi was not worth the wait. Maybe the service at the restuarant is better but delivery I can not recommend and I made it a point to advise my co workers about it.

I was in the area someone told me of samari sushi, pleasantly surprised of this new place. Very good. I had #2 specialty roll (crab, shrimp, Avocado etc) shumai, miso soup was amazing. I had iced green tea also very good. The chef had us try his special and it was so fresh and tasty. Looking forward to returning

A sushi place with many vegan options, cannot go wrong. The MAC roll is delicious, as is the avocado peanut and the sweet potato tempura. Add some yasi goza and some age dashi tofu and you will be in vegan heaven! The quality of the food is very high, everything I order always is very fresh and you can tell because avocado browns and fruit gets mushy. Great addition to this town.
