Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse

We ate here with another couple over the weekend and had a phenomenal experience. Our server, Dedrea, was absolutely amazing. She gave us service with a smile, was very attentive, gave great recommendations and she greeted every single person who walked past her as they entered the restaurant. This type of service is very rare in my experience. I called to speak with a manager and she was expecting to hear a negative experience. I received a prompt return phone call from the GM Chella(hope I spelled that correctly). Her first words to me after greeting me were thanking me for taking the time to call her and share my experience because they can't improve if people don't call. To her surprise, I was sharing a very positive experience. Clearly, quality of employees matters to this company and it shows in a big way. We will definitely be back here even though there are TONS of other restaurants to choose from in the area. Why take a chance when we know the food is going to be delicious and the service is going to be top-notch!

My first time here for lunch. I wanted to get a sense of what the steak was like, but I was not wanting a full on dinner. I'm also cautious about eating steak at a chain like restaurant. So, I ordered the filet sliders. Medium rare. Oh my goodness, it was so delicious. Next time I eat here, I will order the steak. It was juicy and tender. The kitchen cooked it as requested, medium rare, the first time. The service was great, too. Lauren was an excellent server.

A colleague recommended the chicken vesuvio here. I ordered the bone in half chicken. I've only had this dish once at another Italian restaurant. But Harry's chicken Vesuvio was definitely a whole lot better than the other. The chicken was cooked well and not too over done. The key was the sauce the chicken rested in. It was amazing I could drink that sauce straight up. The peas and potatoes soaked up that sauce and every bite was filled with flavor. Amazing dish. I got it togo back to my hotel room and it was just so good. Definitely give this dish a shot.

We were in town for business part & we visited on our first evening. It’s a nice establishment, with an old pub atmosphere, however it is a bit tight, stuffy and loud, other than that, you’re good to go. The menu we felt was limited. Our staff was prompt and informative of the menu but were sharp when an inquiry was made. I think the overall vibe didn’t feel very welcoming to us & unfortunately due to that we didn’t make a second visit back. Fortunately, the food was good and that’s what counts!
