Fire Water Bbq

Wow, it really did live up to the hype. Probably one of the best barbecue joints in the Chicago area. We had their lunch special, a beef brisket sandwich with one side and a drink for $12. Definitely well worth the price. The sweet potato fries were coated with cinnamon. The Chicago barbecue sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and tangy. Definitely would recommend.

The staff behind the counter are awesome and they give you great customer service from the beginning until the end. The food is definitely smoked on a smoker. We had half a slab of ribs, wings, sausage, bacon, pulled pork, brisket, macaroni & cheese, baked beans and garlic fries. The ribs, wings and bacon were all very hard and dry. They overcooked them way too much. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but if this is the way they cook every day, I'm not sure is worth coming back. The macaroni & cheese, sausage and baked beans were good. Their prices are on par with any other BBQ place. Most of the tables were dirty, they need a person to clean the tables after the customers leave. We had to clean our own table and I noticed that several customer's were also cleaning their own tables.

The food is always good and we go here once every couple of months. My 3 star review is because it's getting kind of expensive and now they charge a 10% fee for carry out supplies. I just rolled my eyes at but said okay supply issues can make things expensive yada yada. Then I received my food dumped in the bottom of a brown paper bag with my sandwich tossed on top. Really 10% for that? Either drop the 10% or give me an actual container like you used to. Food is still good but this really rubbed me the wrong way.

This was pretty good. The rib tips were cooked perfect, best thing I had. The beans were great as a side. I felt the pulled pork was undersauced a bit. The wings were crumchy and smoky. I would love if they included buffalo wing sauce as an option; it is hard for me to find wings in this area that aren't heavily breaded. I also would love other bread options besides a slice of bread. This is definitely the best BBQ place I've been to in the west suburbs, though.

One of the worst BBQ spot ever. Dry and old chicken wings. Dry and tasteless rib tips. If you want gray and tasteless brisket this is the spot for you. Reply to the business response: I was not mistaking your restaurant for another. I still have receipt of what I purchase at your bbq spot. The food was absolutely terrible. Revisit the quality that you are serving to the public.
