Byron Pizza

Always friendly service, always good pies (pizzas), I've enjoyed Byron Pizza for more than 20 years. My last order got messed up. They were very apologetic and sincere. Without any prompt from me, they gave me gift certificates equal to the value of the order, offered to deliver the order (it was a pickup order, so I was in the store at the time), and did not charge me for the food. Five star conduct through and through.

We have been looking for a new go-to pizza spot since January when our OG restaurant closed. After many recommendations from friends and neighbours we decided to order over the phone for pickup. One medium pizza with pepperoni, bacon, feta and one panzerotti with mushroom, ham, and pepperoni. Once we drove the twenty minutes home, it was evident the order was wrong. My pizza was missing the bacon, and instead had mushrooms (which I hate). My boyfriends panzerotti was missing the ham, and because the mushrooms used were fresh, it made the whole thing very watery and inedible to him. I called the shop and let them know what went wrong and they were very good to deal with. They offered to remake the orders and deliver it to us, but because we live out of town it was too far. So instead they personally mailed us $50 in coupons for our next order. Tonight we used the coupons they mailed and ordered two medium pizzas, and cheesy garlic bread. This time with 4 toppings each, and ordered over the phone for pickup. The food was amazing, made perfectly to order and not too greasy or watery. Will be returning in the future!

Unfortunately the online application tricks you into paying a tip. They are now losing a star for that and will continue to lose a star as it stays a default. You can edit the tip to zero but it's the last thing you think about or even notice as you're trying to get all your options in place your credit card pizza items Etc. Byron pizza has been one of our go-to places for some time but this needs to be changed I don't know how many people forget about it don't even notice it and pay this tip which is ridiculous. I would normally tip but I don't in this case because it's a total trick. It took me a bit to figure out how to even change it as there's no option for custom you just have to click on the tip number and punch in a zero.
