The River Room

We went for my daughter’s birthday tonight. We were the first ones to arrive. We had a reservation for 5 at 5.00 pm.One of the waitresses ( not our waitress) walked us to the table. We asked her if we can sit on the table close to the window (there were 4 tables which had the best views). I asked if we can add one chair to one of those tables. She said no we can’t. All the tables are reserved. She sat 2 people on one of those tables for 4 with a great view, , 2 others who really didn’t want to face the beautiful view, and the table for 4 on the right nobody sat until we left. They would rather keep the table empty than let us enjoy our dinner with a good view. The food was ok. We didn’t really liked the taco shrimp. Our waitress (Katherine) was amazing. Very professional, filling our cups with water all the time, asking always how we like our food. Very happy with Katherine. Food came pretty fast. We didn’t have to wait long.

The perfect date night spot if you’re looking for fine dining and a view. The service was great. Our server Kathrine was extremely sweet and easy going. The food was also very good and portions were bigger than any fine dining place we’ve been. The appetizer menu also had a very good selection and the tartare was a must try. Overall an amazing experience!

My girlfriend and I where celebrating our 2 year anniversary and where looking for somewhere new in London to try out. Located within the London museum, The river room was a nice little surprise, from great food to a very welcoming atmosphere it was a great new location to check out. We got there early but luckily the museum is free to roam under your own power so it was a nice way to kill time. All in all this is truthfully a great place to have a nice relaxing sit down meal at a relatively reasonable price. Me being such a foodie as I am had a nice surprise when I had my meal. Everything was fresh no frozen produce at all. Great place great food and great staff couldn't ask for a better place for a nice dinner together, awesome date night location.

We were super excited to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful sunset to watch while dining. The tortellini's were amazing in that creamy basil sauce, and the Aprerol drink was devine! We did have a few upsets, but Sean, the manager, has been gracious enough to reach out and rectify. Thank you, and we appreciate it. We look forward to our next dining experience! 🥂
