Vera’s Plate

I have tried falafel from literally all stores in London and I tell you this the best falafel ever hands down! All freshly made. Everyone who works here, especially Vera herself are the nicest people you ever want to meet, make you so welcomed. It is also so nice to not go to a franchise but to place like this that take pride in their food and their name behind it.

I'm vegetarian, so I love all the options available. My fiancee is an omnivore, but can't get enough of they're fries and vegan gravy. She claims it's better than all of the beef gravy she's had around London, and I couldn't agree more ;). Going to Vera's plate is definitely going to be a bi weekly reoccurrence for us.

Stopped in with a friend shortly before close while driving through London. We were looking for something good but not too expensive, and were trying to stay away from major chains and fast food. We were both really impressed! The restaurant was clean, service was quick and friendly, prices were right, and the food was fresh and tasted great. Both my friend and I agree, we will come back when we're in London again. We had kebab wraps and a plate of hummus. The hummus appeared to have been made in-house, tasted great, and the presentation was appealing. Decor and restaurant layout are very informal, just a basic place to grab some decent food, exactly what we wanted.
