Lentil

I really love the food here. I’ve been to many Indian Cuisine restaurants in some Asian countries (though not in India lol) and Lentil definitely has its own special savory dishes! As a pescetarian I recommend prawn and fish curry(prawn with spinach and garlic, fish with coconut milk- you will find in the menu) and plain naan. Garlic naan is also good, but if you like thin, crispy naan then choose the plain one. Also you can order Lassi, not on the menu but you can(mango/sweet or salty). Last but not least, the friendliest staff I’ve ever met in London!!!!

We've been before and the food and service has always been truly excellent. As a matter of full disclosure I should make it clear that I have previously left 5* reviews for Lentils in South Ealing on TripAdvisor. We hadn't been able to visit Lentils for a few months but that didn't stop the guys welcoming us like long lost friends. Once again we had a lovely meal, freshly cooked with every dish having its own distinct taste, unlike the generic dishes you are often served at other Indian/Nepalese restaurants. Lentil's chef is an artist. Keep it up! The only thing that may become a problem in the future... This restaurant WAS a real hidden gem and is now becoming a much more popular eatery. Yes, other people have now discovered Lentils and it's getting busier in there, not so much as to spoil a meal, but enough to slightly delay the arrival of your food. So I suggest you go in with a relaxed frame of mind, chat with the guys as they take your order (tip: ask what 'off menu' dishes they can recommend) and enjoy a fabulous meal. We certainly won't be leaving it quite so long before returning to Lentils in South Ealing.
