Sheila's Cafe

Best breakfast food in the Lancaster Gate section of London. Very small but intimate dining room that is busy almost every day. Best times to go are early (7:30am) on the weekdays but be prepared to wait for a table any other times. Very friendly staff who attentive and efficient. Had the English breakfast, coffee and a large cup of freshly squeezed OJ (£6). With gratuity, the bill was north of £20. Their omlettes excellent so if the English breakfast is not your thing then this is another option. There are pastries available for those with a sweet tooth. I try to visit at least once every time I visit London.

On our latest trip to London we visited Sheila’s cafe. It was directly across from our hotel and we passed it several times before we decided to have breakfast there. It’s a very small cafe with only like 7 tables. But that’s not unusual in Europe. We had the full English and the breakfast sandwich which was huge. Both were excellent! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Shiela’s.

A nice little '(w)hole in the wall' kinda breakfast place. Loved the service people always joking. Really nice breakfast. No problems in switching options. 12£ for a breakfast in London is average and absolutely worth the price. -1 Star for Atmosphere because it was a bit uncomfortable if you are 6foot+. Come here at around 12 o'clock to have less trouble getting a table.

Nice and cosy little cafe. Just of Hyde Park. Was in the area for the night and found this place. Average price for London, 12 pound for a brekkie. Good service, nice and polite, clean tables and floor. Was pretty busy which is normally a good sign if the place is any good. All good cooked fresh, not warmed up. Will be back if in the area in the future.

This traditional London cafe is fantastic if you're looking for an English breakfast and some atmosphere. The hosts are really friendly and jolly, and the food is good quality, tasty and reasonably priced for London. You might have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. Just a stone's throw from the north side of Hyde Park. Well worth a try.

Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! As other reviews mention, the cafe is very cosy - but this is a good thing as long as you manage to find a seat. Service was quick, breakfast was as expected. The drawbacks for me are that it felt a tad on the pricier side and the coffee was average. I’d come back here, it’s a safe bet.

Nice cafe restaurant with good food and service!! I ran in Hyde Park before morning meetings and try to find a breakfast place after sports. I would come for many times in the future because of 1. The food is delicious and well cooked. 2. Good service and much smile. 3. Nice location and convenience. I ordered an English breakfast, orange juice and coffee and cost 20.5 pounds. Recommend to try!
