the french toast is a muuuust! thick, fluffy, eggy and drenched in berry compote and vanilla ice cream. soo good.

This is a great restaurant with excellent food and great service. The flat-top chicken dish is great as is the salad with smoked fish. Hard to imagine anything not being good.

The sauce of the chicken hamburger is a little bit wired cuz it’s sour. I love the steak, it’s really nice. The avocado on toast with poached eggs tasted normal, nothing special. The waitress didn’t come to serve us until we ask her to.

I had a Eggs Royale w/ Sweet potato fries yummy 🤤 and a berry acai drink. I would definitely go back for more. My partner had a coconut yoghurt bowl and a grilled seabass which were both delicious. The coconut yoghurt is something I could have for breakfast everyday just with more granola and a tad bit of jam.

Came in here on a whim, and was very pleasantly surprised. The salmon bagel with capers and cream cheese (they call it a “Lower East Side”) while not 100% authentic per se is still delicious and has good portions.
Also, this is the first place I’ve visited outside of the states to offer both Boilermakers and Micheladas and that’s just a lovely thing to see elsewhere.
It’s a perfectly cozy and pleasant place to grab a bite whilst you’re perusing Portobello Market, and the prices aren’t wild. Very tasty.

Classic options, nothing more, nothing less. You get exactly what you pay for. Staff was great and food was a solid, strong 4 stars.

What an amazing place! Authentic super yummy American diner, with the best options you can get. Waffles, pancakes, various types of egg recipes, even sea bass. Everything was well presented and delicious. They keep it clean and tidy too, including the toilets. 5 star to the staff too, especially JJ who kindly and very friendly assisted us and helped to make the most of our experience. Highly recommended, especially if you're wondering where to eat while visiting the market.

It’s quite splendid place.
Can feel very retro like in movie and the English breakfast was definitely nice.
I ordered full English breakfast but may be half is enough.
I completely suggest this restaurant!

The staff here are very friendly and kind! I came in during the afternoon to read for a bit while having lunch, and there were a few other people casually having drinks and food while working on their laptops. The food is good, burger is slightly grisly but delicious and the chips are well seasoned with chipotle mayo. I really liked how the lighting above the booths is tilted off to the side with bulbs that don’t shine strongly in your face.
