Amazing dishes. The Filipinos I went with said it was really authentic and elevated even further. The oxtail and tripe were a winner for me.

We are in London visiting friends and were treated to this wonderful restaurant. I was very pleasingly surprised to be at this restaurant. The ambience was exceptional and me very proud to be a Filipino. Thank you to the late Carlos P Romulo. The food was very well prepared, the presentation was impressive and the umami was out of this world. Kudos to the management.

Came for the Friday tapas feast. I prefer the regular al a carte menu, but I would recommend this to people who are unfamiliar with filipino cuisine. There's a huge selection of tapas, which includes traditional fili dishes and some new modern takes by Romulo. I highly recommend their chicken sisig - I'd say its their unofficial signature dish. The calamari and kare kare are also great. You must finish off with their halo-halo, which is so refreshing and sweet. The lechon had the beautiful crispy skin, but the flesh was slightly dry. Also, the pancit was slightly underseasoned and could've been served at a hotter temperature. The servers were nice and knowledgeable about the menu - good for those who are new to fili food. The food came out very fast, faster than if it were their al a carte service. As a result, I think some of their dishes weren't of an ideal quality (the lechon and pancit). I will say that the tapas menu is very reasonably priced considering the amount of food you get. If you're new to fili food, I'd recommend the Friday tapas menu. However, if you're familiar with the cuisine and want to try the classics with a twist, I'd go with their al a carte menu during the week.

Food was amazing just a tad bit too hot in the restaurant but we went on a super hot day... the ube martini's the best cocktail I've ever had in my life

They offer the common traditional Filipino dishes. I was hoping for a wider selection of main dishes though. Unfortunately, probably due to weather, it was very warm inside the restaurant. Overall, it is a nice place to try Filipino dishes if it is your first time.

A lovely quaint little Filipino restaurant situated less than 10 minutes away from Olympia Station. The interior was beautiful and filled with plenty of Filipino-inspired paintings and the table decor was gorgeous. Staff were very attentive and always came around to ask if there was anything we needed. You are first served a roll of pandesal (Filipino bread) with butter as an appetiser before your mains, a tiny detail that I loved! Highly recommend the crispy pata, chicken inasal sisig and kare kare paired with the garlic fried rice - everything was super delicious and so moreish, and loved how it tasted just like how we’d have it in the Philippines 🥰 We finished the evening off with halo-halo and my favourite part of the dessert was the smooth, creamy leche flan and ube ice cream that it came with - definitely the highlight of the dessert for me! Thank you and looking forward to returning 😊

I went here with my friends for a pre birthday celebration. My friends had never had Filipino food before and now they avid fans! Beautiful restaurant and lovely staff, the food was 5 Star 🌟 The first thing we had was the calamansi juice and the warm soft pandasal, we then ordered all of the starters to share, what a great way to introduce the flavours of the Philippines. Then we practically ordered the rest of the main menu and desserts. We ordered a fair amount of dishes and the servings were good for 2-3 people. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here especially the final touches like the birthday song and treat from the staff. My friends and I will definitely be back and bringing more friends to enjoy this spot. Definitely worth travelling to!

Amazing food 🤤 They give you warm fluffy pandesal and butter to start, which was a very welcome surprise. We ordered the beef kare kare, crispy pata, chicken adobo, and garlic rice to share between 3 people. It was very filling and left no room for desserts! (And we are big eaters) The chicken adobo was just gorgeous. So tender. And the garlic rice was soft and delicious. Drinks were also delicious and unique, we tried the ube martini and Manila lady (flavoured with calamansi). Highly recommend both. Go and enjoy yourself!

Lovely food. Incredibly strong flavors. I’ve had a lot of Filipino food, but this was a heightened experience. Enjoyed learning the history of Carlos Rumolo and his family. Definitely check it out! And the ube Cappuccino was delicious!
