Not withstanding the fact it’s a Sam Smiths pub, we managed to find drinks that everyone was happy with. The main hall of this pub is splendid, from the vaulted ceiling to the small booth seating and the paneled walls. The pub is worth a visit just to see its atmospheric interior. Then of course sit and have a drink.

We came across the Cittie of York as we were looking for a pub with atmosphere whilst we walked around central London. Loved the atmosphere, especially the individual cubicles giving privacy too. The bars above the bar area provide a great talking point. The menu is good pub food (steak pie, burgers etc).

This is a super nice pub, a lot of space, different places to sit and some with more privacy, the decoration and environment is very cozy and enjoyable. They also serve food.
