Cosy room and good British grub. I had pie was which was slightly salty but very rich and enjoyable. The food is presented well but it lacks a little something! Veggies on the side were small and nothing special. The only thing that annoyed me is the staff constantly trying to sell us wine. It seem to be a pattern after ordering one glass. Overall very nice place and recommend a visit.

We stopped at Quo Vadis on the way to a show, not knowing it was famous, and instantly got charmed by the beautifully designed menu. We had a mix of mostly vegetarian starters and cocktails. Our waiter was lovely and food excelent - especially the fig & goat cheese sandwich. Recommended :)

It’s a while since we visited Quo Vardis but as members and having been close by after a matinee theatre performance we rang to book an early table. Well! A transformation has occurred since we were last there for the better I hasten to add. We were greeted like long lost friends and ushered upstairs to the members dining room where Gigi our charming front of house host pampered us with exceptional service. Jeremy’s food did not disappoint either. Hubby and I both had the fabulous smoked eel sandwich I had the most delicious grouse hubby the skate washed down with a full bodied red. Can’t recommend this great gem of a place more highly. Till next time. 👏👏👏

A unique dining experience at this renowned British restaurant in Soho. It's famous for its pies and smoked eel sandwich. I had a chicken and rabbit pie Was very tasty but could have used some veggies. It's primarily meat and sauce with a crispy tasty pastry on top. The jellied pork starter was delicious as was the pistachio tart with peaches for dessert. Service was excellent and our server couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. Good cocktails as well. This is a London institution and its reputation is well deserved.

Amazing place! Every dish was absolutely delicious… even the mutton pie- while I’m not generally a bit fan of meat pies, this one blew me away!

Overall wonderful experience. Would go back. The mackerel with pickled rhubarb and freshly made horseradish sauce was a dream. The starter of artichokes and fennel - somewhat meh. And the main course of porchetta (served cold) is mis-categorized - the porchetta is wonderful but with all the capers, and the anchovies and the sauce - the flavors are so strong and so salty (wonderfully so), the dish should be divided in half and served as a starter. Not a main course dish at all. Despite these drawbacks the meal was wonderful and we would go back!

Super British food. Tasty, quality ingredients and good portions. Lots of unique and traditional dishes to choose from. Their pastries / pies are also amazing. They are open to non-members while they renovate, so definitely a must try before it isn't open to the public.

I was fortunate to come to London for a holiday when Quo Vadis had finally opened after going through a renovation. My previous experience with eel has been in the form of sushi (which can sometimes has an oily taste) so this piquant version was a delicious surprise. The meaty pieces of smoked eel, smothered in fiery horseradish cream and Dijon mustard almost overwhelm the dish. But the sourdough bread pulled it together for me. Is the pickled onion a touch too much given the strong flavors of horseradish cream and Dijon? Perhaps, but I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful eel sandwich. The pie of the day was chicken with white sauce. The lovely crust with the creamy and satisfying filling were a perfect match. It was hearty and perfect for the rather dreary April weather. Loved this restaurant!
