Haz - Bishopsgate

Lovely food but I felt they could have done with more vegetarian main dishes (vegetarian moussaka was delicious, roasted cauliflower tasted more like it'd been boiled and had way too much sauce, tho that was tasty). Nice and quiet Friday lunch, I would go again but feel they could do with reducing the prices and would get more customers.

Food was tasty, but should be for the toppy price they charge. Service was really lacking. They forgot one starter, so had to ask after no sign of it arriving. Staff walking around looking at the floor instead of keeping an eye on customers. Given the low volume of people, the lack of care and attention was palpable.

They say that everyone deserves a second chance! With that in mind my friend and I decided to give it another try and this time around our dining experience did not dissapoint! As this is what one expects when dining out- good food, good company and good service and last night's dinner ticked all the right boxes. The service was flawless from start till the end, the food was delicious and the bubbles complimented the whole dining experience. We really enjoyed it!

Excellent food and service at Haz and we had a super evening. There were 14 of us dining, so not always easy, but the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fab evening. The menu is quite extensive with something for everyone, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were generous in portion size and beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients. The tabouleh and the swordfish main in particular were excellent, as well as the lamb tagine. They have an excellent wine list, with a good range of wines by the glass (I enjoyed a Chablis, but there are other delicious grape varieties on the menu such as a Fiano, Gavi, Burgundy, and a Riesling Kabinet which would pair really well with a spicier dish). We felt very well looked after, and the staff were very efficient with clearing the table and removing empty glasses. It was a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Lucky for me, this fantastic restaurant was right next to my hotel. After a long flight, I wanted something lighter to eat, so I chose 3 starters: hummus, falafel and tomato/onion salad. The food was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was really nice and the staff was super sweet. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Haz.

Excellent location in the middle of the Financial Centre. Great for business lunch l, team gathering or corporate events. I had the mixed grill last time I was there and the taste was amazing. I will definitely go there again as my last experience was excellent. The Meza is ok but not great so if you skip that you will not be missing a lot. Make sure you book a table, the place is packed most of the time.
