The Racketeer

We had a birthday party exclusive hire at the Racketeer last weekend and it was just the perfect venue. A wonderful space for a fun party, great atmosphere, fabulous cocktails and the staff were exceptional in the run up to planning it and on the night itself. We really enjoyed the downstairs cellar room for a late night dance with our friends. Couldn’t have asked for more… Thank you to Marco and the whole team there, Zoe and Robin

I hired out the back area and courtyard for an engagement party. The team at the Racketeer were so accomodating and helpful. The venue is beautiful and just perfect for around 30 guests. The drinks were lovely and the staff were incredibly kind. I can't wait to return and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a venue to hire!

We were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to have a wander round the neighbourhood rather than staying in the hotel bar. We were really pleased to come across the Racketeer, a super bar with friendly staff and a chilled out atmosphere. It offers an impressive menu of cocktails (other drinks are available if the fancy stuff is not your thing) with something for almost everyone. I had a Trinidad Swizzle, a long fruity drink which tasted amazing and was beautifully presented too. My other half is a big fan of an Old Fashioned so he went for the Racketeer's twist on this classic which he really enjoyed. If you're a cocktail fan and you're in the area, or passing on the number 63 bus, then drop in and try something delicious, you won't be disappointed.

All the staff were very friendly. My friend and I tried the majority of the amazing house cocktails (Same as any other real cocktail place good variety of size and taste). Not sure if the house menu changes but if it does and I make it back, I would definitely be keen to try what else they mix up. Was also told you could request off menu cocktails as we were running out of options. Went to this gem last Saturday on a weekend trip as it was close to our hotel and it was miserable weather, the good ambiance and service kept us there all night. Had no real food but had good snacks and tasty olives.

We had our pre-wedding event at the Racketeer and it was seriously phenomenal. The venue is absolutely lovely and our guests loved the courtyard and general overall vibe. The drinks were also fantastic and the staff were so kind to all of us all night, which made it feel super special. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Thanks again so much to the staff and I highly recommend this venue for events of any kind.

Back in the day, when The Racketeer opened its doors, it quickly became one of my favorite cocktail bars in London. The exceptional cocktails and amazing atmosphere make it a must-visit destination for any cocktail enthusiast. Even after moving away from London, I recently had the pleasure of revisiting and was reminded of their excellence. Skilled mixologists craft unforgettable drinks using high-quality ingredients and the welcoming staff complete the experience! Quietly getting on with serving some of the best crafted cocktails in London under the hype radar. A genuine neighbourhood bar and really friendly staff, welcoming you. The food choice is limited to cheese & charcuterie boards, reason being they are filled with tastiest choices you could wish for, spot on. Ease into a lazy weekend afternoon or a great place to drop by any day. Stay a while and you’ll leave with a smile. 😊
