Izgara

We ate here for dinner earlier this week and although I have dined in many a Turkish restaurants, Ive never dined in one like this. I got to experience the ambience of a great atmosphere and authentic turkish cuisine. Not only was it the real deal but it totally rocked. (Im not sure about the Raki which is an acquired taste) But the service was off the charts. Would I eat there again? Absolutely. Should you? The answer should be a ressounding yes.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at Izgara, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. This restaurant not only offers an incredible feast for the senses, but it also provides an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you yearning for more. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor is tastefully done, striking the perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy comfort. The attention to detail in creating a welcoming atmosphere is commendable, making Izgara an ideal spot for any occasion. In terms of the food, Izgara truly excels in crafting dishes that are not only visually stunning but also bursting with flavor. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes that cater to every palate. Whether you're a fan of succulent grilled meats, delectable seafood, or flavorful vegetarian options, Izgara has something to satisfy every craving. What truly sets Izgara apart, however, is its exceptional staff. The team here goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. The attentive and friendly service provided by the staff only enhances the overall dining experience. I cannot recommend Izgara highly enough. It is a haven for food lovers.

Fabulous restaurant serving food full of flavour in a restaurant close to Totteridge and Whetstone station. Staff are friendly and accommodating, plenty of choices for vegetarians like me! Opted for the veggie platter to start with (swapped the fish for olives) and for main course I went for the vegetable moussaka which was a big portion, I couldn't finish the rice. Definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed I will definitely return.

A late lunch was ours, It was our first visit at the restaurant however familiar with their menu as was ordering delivery previously. Very welcoming and good looking room, also has outside seating too. We had soup, a hot starter and 2 sides! Nice choices for mains and specials... also there is a set menu option. Lentil soup is the most popular soup you might find in a Turkish restaurant, I love it! Liver was our choice from starters, tasty and tender... Surprisingly as most Turkish restaurants here we did not received a salad, but the classic chilli and yogurt sauces arrived with the liver... Wished we had the boulgour with the liver but to be fair I didn't asked. It arrived with the grilled vegetables which were tasty fresh off the grill. As per dessert loved Helva made of semolina... is a traditional sweet often made in home and rarely found on restaurant menus... at least not in London! I been to several turkish restaurants ;) Was great to remember the taste from Istanbul... finished with Turkish Tea and got offered Turkish delight ❤ If in the area will definetly return!
