I had the chicken schnitzel
A very big lump of chicken. Had not been freshly cooked. Had been frozen I think. Almost inedible. I left most of it

This is a wonderful, classic pub to enjoy a delicious meal or just drinks. We ate there for the first time last night, and had a lovely table right next to a fireplace, and excellent service. The food was very good, it is not often you can get duck breast on a pub menu. The chocolate cake with ice cream was a great way to finish off the dinner. It is a very spacious pub so lots of room for both diners and drinkers, which we really appreciate. We will certainly return and try other items on the menu, or maybe just stop in for a drink. Great place!

I live across the road so I come here occasionally. Chicken schnitzel is amazing and really big! Lovely little outside sitting space at the back.

Had lunch with a friend today, had the most amazing steak and ale pie, possibly the best I have ever had! Followed by a banging sticky toffee pudding, absolutely delicious! Lovely pub with excellent service, will be back really soon.

Organised a team meal for over 40 people.
The pub was able to accommodate all the changes we requested and were absolutely brilliant.
All the food was served within a 5 minute window and was delicious.
A phenomenal effort and a great experience.

Had a lovely Sunday roast this evening. I had the beef, which I enjoyed. My friend had the pork belly, which was exceptional! Very good price, and we could barely finish our meals. Beautiful house, so warm and cozy. Highly recommend!! The

I come to this pub tonight because I forget my keys. It’s a shame I only come here two times while I literally live next door.
I definitely should come here more. Cozy sofa, with the fireplace, just make you feel at home. Definitely will come back with friends.
