Uncle Tony's Taverna

OMG so delicious, as a celiac who can't eat gluten and dairy, eating out is often a chore. I had lamb souvla, roasted veggies and chips that had only been cooked in oil with potatoes, nothing else. The food here was so tasty, fresh and truly scrumptious, they don't even have.a freezer. Everything is fresh everyday. Can't wait to go back.

10/10 experience at Uncle Tony’s! Jack was an absolutely amazing host and was extremely friendly, made conversation with us and checked on us throughout our meal. Other staff are equally as friendly and even met Uncle Tony himself! The food was amazing it felt very authentic! I got so full so it’s definitely worth it! I can say this is an amazing place with an amazing environment and amazing people working there!

Greek restaurant in Finchley, London. It is just in front of the tube station and easy to get in. Plenty of space inside and if you walk through it is a terrace with so many tables for clients in a chill out atmosphere. We had live music during our stay. Good service, good portions of the main dishes and a bit small starters. Everything was amazing, home made, very tasty and full of flavour. As we were a big group we had the chance to taste lots of different dishes and we weren't disappointed. It is a very recommendable greek restaurant. They also have take away options and I could see how busy they were.

Decided on a whim to treat myself to Greek food rather than walk past Uncle Tony's Taverna as I often do on the evening commute. I asked for the seabass and had the pleasure of receiving Tony's knowledge on seabass and the difference between wild and farmed seabass. He lovingly presented the whole fish to me, grilled it and his lovely wife prepared it for me, pulling apart the tender white meat and dressing it generously with lemon juice, parsley, olive oil, and salt while talking me through the process. They were busy as always but it was a delight to see the love and pride with which they prepare their food. This was served with Greek salad and warm pitta bread. I went home and enjoyed what was the most delicious, most succulent seabass I have eaten in my life. I don't visit enough and I will certainly return soon. Thank you for this enchanting experience!
