Nando's Glasshouse Street

Great little Nandos, very good service, attentive and quick. The food was great, and the chicken was juicy. My only criticism is with the chips. Not my thing as they aren't crispy enough and pretty dry, but that's true with all the Nandos I've been to. Otherwise, fantastic location and had a lovely meal.

Whilst the restaurant is not huge, it is far larger than it seems. Nandos does not allow any reservations so we were concerned with meeting overseas guests there. However, we were seated within a few minutes by some friendly staff. It seems you now order things from an app by scanning a QR code at the table. In our case, with a coeliac in the party, we ordered at the counter and items were double checked for compliance. Very professional. The food was brought within about 15 minutes and was up to the usual standard and quality. If I had to make an observation, I was not blown away by the Vusa sauce...I did expect something with more kick but I am probably an outlier. Not much more to add other than bathrooms, table and counters were clean. Staff were friendly. Decor added to the atmosphere. The music playing in the background was vibey but not too loud to distract from conversation. Oh, please change the sauce dispensing caps - they are horrendous! They may work well with a lemon and herb sauce or olive oil but with the thicker sauces, it is P A I N F U L L Y S L O W to get any out. Overall, a very good experience.

Great staff, great food. It was my first time at Nando’s. I like how you can just scan and order online. The drinks were refills with soft drink options. The waiting time was about 10-15 minutes. Food-wise, the sauces were tasty and the wings were amazingly soft. I tried the extra hot sauce and it was nice, as well as the garlic sauce. The staff was helpful. All in all, had a great experience. And will come again for sure.

It is a nice restaurant, very nice atmosphere, relatively clean dinning area. We visited on Monday for lunch. Ordered butterfly chicken breast and two extra pieces of chicken thigh. What delivered is for sure what I ordered but the portion is amazingly small since they are charging for one piece of chicken butterfly like around 9 pounds and almost 14 pounds for the menu. With the waiter forgetting my salad, it looks extremely petty, but it got quickly fixed after a short conversation with the waiter. Maybe if you want bigger portion, you should order meat with bones, like half or quarter chicken. Boneless chicken is more of a kids size meal. Chicken was a bit dry, flavoring is good, but not as good as what I was expecting. Maybe you will have a better experience without expectation. Overall, fun experience, would go again but I will skip the boneless options.
