Fancied some chicken pho, and this place was 5 mins from hotel. Fantastic food and service, portion size is huge. Highly recommended.

For that authentic Vietnamese food experience, then this is the place to visit. The menu is quite extensive so you'll be spoilt for choice. You order at the table via a QR code, and there's no alcohol on the menu.

First time in London visiting from America, this was my first food experience. This place is great! Nice relaxing atmosphere, more than fair prices and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back to London and definitely back here.

Excellent! The aroma of this restaurant is the real perfume of Vietnam. It’s run by a Vietnamese couple whose enjoyment at sharing this authentic food is palpable. We (two of us) ordered the summer roll platter “are you sure you want the platter it’s for four people?” Oh yes we do! “ They enjoyed our enthusiasm and it was so worth it as they were fabulous and bounteous. We also shared a huge bowl of and a house noodle soup with prawns, chicken and deliciously rare beef slivers. Superb food and good value for money too. I’ll go back again! I also bought some chilli oil and garlic chilli paste to take home, what a find!

First-time at Caphe House, but we are seasoned Vietnamese foodies. Attended the Bermondsey Street Festival, and we stumbled upon this eatery.
Proprietors were friendly, and they were even careful to confirm the level of spiciness with our kids after we placed the order.
We each had various pho noodles and vermicelli soups, which were "infused with full-flavoured broth" and tender pieces of beef. Love it, and we left with very satisfied tummies 💕

I was craving some pho and was reminiscing about the meal I had here jn April 2023. Some of the best pho I’ve ever eaten. The portions were huge but it was so good, I had to finish my bowl.

Came here with some friends for a quick dinner on a Friday evening before heading to a jazz bar nearby. I had expected it to be quite busy at 7:30 but it was surprisingly empty so we managed to get a table at the back easily. Waiter was friendly too.
We ordered via the QR code they have assigned on all the tables with a number provided for your table so you can order online and pay. There's also the option to not pay the service charge so it's definitely good to know.
We went with the shredded pork vermicelli noodle bowl with salad, the pork belly vermicelli noodle bowl with salad as well, and my friend got a hot Vietnamese coffee on the side. It was an interesting way of marinating the shredded pork with lots of black pepper and spring onions, as I had never tried that in other Vietnamese places but I really liked the flavours coming together with the pork. It was slightly misleading with the picture on the online menu as I saw some spring rolls in the bowl for this specific item so I was expecting them but there were none. Nonetheless I enjoyed it on a hot summer evening as it was refreshing with the salad and lukewarm noodles. The coffee was very strong and smooth too, which is exactly my personal preference. My friend mentioned the pork belly wasn't really belly meat as the fatty bits were missing but overall she enjoyed her meal too.
It's definitely not the best Vietnamese place I have tried so far in London but it's one I am happy to revisit if I am around the area again soon.

I live in San Francisco Bay Area and travel often to London for work. Since my first visit to Caphe 2 years ago, I have been retuning to this wonderful place every time - never miss! This is a true authentic Vietnamese restaurant operated by a young and friendly family. It is better than many of the top Vietnamese restaurants in SF. The food is excellent; price is very reasonable and the people are the best 👍👍👍

Had an absolutely delicious bowl of bún Huế here. Packed with flavor, and it really satisfied my craving for something sour and spicy flavored. One of the best bowls of noodle soup I’ve had in a restaurant, and I’ve tried lots! I preferred the rare beef to the brisket by far.
