Pra Thai

The food here is good but the service was not really on par. We had called weeks prior to our visit to book a table as we were a fairly large group - when we arrived, they didn't seem to know what we were talking about. However, the restaurant was empty, so it was easy to rectify this. One of the members of our group never received his main that he had ordered, and the veggie pra thai platter was missing the tofu, which is advertised on the menu. This was disappointing as we were looking forward to trying the tofu. In terms of the sharing platter, it was nice but nothing too special. The soups were really nice as well as the mains. We found the portion sizes of the mains to be on the bigger side, easily sharable between 2.

I visited this restaurant for the first time this week and must say that the food was fantastic. My Som Tam salad was a nice size portion and tasty (Spicy too!). I recommended Panang to my mate and he loved it. I had Massaman and Pad Thai, Both delicious. The woman chef is a fantastic cook and is actually from Burma (Myanmar) and said she would cook Burmese dishes if asked including Chick Noodle Soup, Mohinga and Hin Cho. I will definitely be taking her up on her offer. This place is a hidden gem, it's not posh but it is top notch. Enjoy!

We visited them when we were vacationing in London and loved their food, so when we came back and my aunt (who lives close by) had her birthday I ordered more food from them to deliver to my aunt. They made the whole process so easy and never worried about getting paid with my American card and just went all out to help me and even sent a note to my aunt wishing her for her birthday. Beautiful people and above all terrific food ❤️❤️ we ordered the seafood combo with pepper corn, Penang with chicken, tom kha soup and Papaya salad . Everything was terrific and their portions were great too . Would absolutely visit them again and love that they are such great humans ❤️❤️❤️

Incredibly attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was very good overall! The mixed platter was excellent and the coconut rice was just glutinous enough to complement the curries perfectly. However the red Thai and panang curries were almost indistinguishable in flavour, though both were good. I will be visiting again!

Thai food with a difference! Delightful Thai cuisine served at its very best. Good food simply well done in a nice delightful atmosphere. The experience was simply divine. I had Pad Thai with Prawns and Fried Ice cream deserts. I have had this dish before but it was not that good. Its very good at Pra Thai.

We had the most amazing food at Pra Thai and the hospitality the waiting staff showed us was top class. We truly felt like we stepped into Thailand, the interior is very authentic, all of the staff were extremely friendly, and we also found the food to be rich in flavour, broad in options, and all done to great standards. I was with two friends who were all singing the praises of this place when we left and reminded me to leave a review. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for delicious Asian cuisine in North London. Thanks to the staff for being so attentive to us and will see you again!

Fabulous service, totally attentive to our needs with 2 young children. Only one high chair available but elder child was given a few cushions to allow her to sit comfortably on an adult chair. Half of our party were vegetarian, staff always checked to make sure any dishes ordered did not contain fish sauce. A lovely red curry for my 2yr old came with extra coconut milk on the side in case she found it spicy! Its these little service touches that make the biggest difference. Som tam papaya salad was great, as were the veggie gyoza. Mixed meat platter was tasty and very good portion size. The only dish we didn't enjoy as much was the pad thai. Will definitely visit again 4.5 stars from us.
