Excellent local pub with very good food.

I've been to the Duke for lunch, drinks and Sunday lunch. Always great. The food especially is fab. Service is consistently good. And a few cocktails which are worth a try too.

Was checking it out. Had a fish burger and my husband had a burger and fries, he said it was very good. Mine was as well. They were doing a End of summer BBQ that day.

Brilliant pub if, like me, you like a quiet location and atmosphere with great beer and food. Lovely outside area. Very clean throughout.

Nice local pub away from the busier high street. Very cosy feel inside with a spacious beer garden that has a covered tarpaulin roof and heaters in the winter. The food here is very good.

Nice hidden gem down the side turnings of Wanstead, very clean, lovely atmosphere, sercice good & prices okay, very popular with small family, groups & wedding reception dinners & drinks...

Had the Sumday roast menu. Very good on the whole. Arancini good, burrito a bot runny and the bread was chewy, mushrooms on toast nice but not very hot. Roasts very good - 3 of us had the pork belly and had an enormous amount of meat - maybe due to being last orders of the day. Good crackling. Beef very good.

The Duke never fails to please with its gourmet pub menu, excellent wine selection, and a fantastic selection of beers. The Guinness is spit on, and that is high praise coming from a very fussy Irishman!
