Great f&c for London normally it's no good down south, curry sauce is banging as well. Nice guys in there and nice decor. Plenty of reviews I've sent saying it was just ok, maybe they have off days but loved it and I'll be back. Will say it's pretty pricey though, 18.35 for jusy haddock chips peas and curry sauce.

Authentic, delicious, old school. Run by 3 Portuguese geezers that know how to fry the best piece of haddock I ve had in London. Order the cucumber pickle and the mushy peas! Only let down was the packaged Heinz tartare sauce.
Stumbled upon this place while passing on the bus, what a gem! Proper old-school atmosphere, friendly staff and food done right. The cod fish was spot on and the beef & onion pie delicious. If you want the real deal rather than something polished up for tourists, this is the place!
Thoroughly decent fish n chips in this unpretentious establishment. Loved it. Fish (I had cod) was perfectly cooked to order (no precooked fish getting dry in a warmer here). Tender and properly hot out of the fryer fish surrounded by a thin and crispy batter. Tasty chips. Friendly staff. Recommended!
