Mr. White's English Chophouse

It was a Christmas gift from my granddaughter. A bit late going as goes to uni. Just walking through the door, we were greeted and with a smile. My granddaughter told them we were there for lunch. It's a very nice restaurant, and we could sit anywhere we wanted to.The waitresses h nice and pleasant and also friendly . I had a Beetroot and goat cheese salad starter, and the mains was Butcher steak, chips, tomatoes,Chef even changed the peppered sauce without any hesitation, Dessert sticky toffee pudding. It's absolutely a delicious meal. With a bottle of Lavender Hill, rose wine included. Will be going back, and l will highly recommend this restaurant, which turns out to be a hotel and coffee shop. A very good experience.

This place is so lovely and intimate :) Highly recommend checking it out! Staff are also really welcoming and friendly and I felt a really lovely vibe whilst sitting down. The ambience is amazing! Me and my friend also LOVED the cocktails here! We also ordered steak and burgers which were absolutely delicious. 🤍

Went in on steak night which meant the price was a little cheaper than usual. At first I had two waiters who didn't even know it was steak night and gave me their normal menu, however this was quickly rectified by the Maître d'hôtel (didn't catch his name unfortunately) who provided us with the correct menu and served us personally after to ensure we all enjoyed our time in the restaurant. Even though we went in on steak night the food served didn't feel compromised because of the cheaper price and was delicious I would definitely recommend Mr White's chophouse to everyone I know and will be visiting again for sure. Also had the calamari which was a hit with all four of us dining (one diner being a 7 year old boy who is extremely fussy with food and would normally pr fer kfc) we all found the food to be really delicious even though two of the diners were a bit apprehensive about trying at first. It was so good even my 7 year old son loved the food. Went for my son's mother's birthday and they also treated her to a small plate of various pastries which was also very nice and made the experience even better. The mocktails we all ordered were also really good. I have given 5 stars but would be willing to give double if I could.

Went to this place for dinner. I had they one of the place for halal steak. Order the steak with prawn 6 oz medium cook. The food came with in 25 mins. The steak is really good at-least better than average steak place. The food portion is decent as well. The resturent is located on a popular street and finding street parking can be difficult.
