Lovely pub with a great history. Good food and a proper pint. We were served by the lovely Maya who was very attentive.

Caroline, the manager, was very friendly and welcoming as I introduced myself as new to the neighbourhood. Fish and chips were A+ (though I like my peas a little mushier). Nice to see Guinness 0.0 on offer, and have already told someone else about it. The El Bar Malbec was superb. All in all we had a great meal and will return again.

My wife and I visited when they had a big band and charity afternoon. We were instantly assisted in getting in with my wife's wheelchair. It was beginning to be busy but we managed to find a table. We enjoyed our meal. The band were great and we happily made a donation. Staff were great serving quickly. They also cleared the way to the disabled toilet. They showed us out the back way to avoid the crowded area by the band. We had a great few hours with a great atmosphere.

Absolutely brilliant pub.
The team where fantastic, friendly and accommodating.
Food was excellent we all enjoyed our meals. Roast and the pie dishes were standouts. I will say the roast potatoes were extra crispy!

Nice pint. Nice pub, looks very nice, comfy seats. Rather expensive though, nearly 10 quid for a glass of wine!

Best pub in the area. Was made to feel very welcome. Great selection of beers. Top notch food as well. Would highly recommend.

The staff are always lovely and the food was great. I would suggest having nicer ‘fake gin’ for those of us not drinking alcohol (Seedlip is very good), but the drinks are always fresh here, glasses and tables are clean, as are the bar and toilets and the pub itself. This is very appealing and increases our enjoyment of visiting.

I don't often visit pubs anymore - having three children. However we had a top notch Sunday roast, lamb and beef were cooked perfectly. We ordered from the children’s menus for the kids. Great service from the staff. I can’t fault this pub except to say eat roast during the week if they served it!
This place is a Gem! Will be back with freinds.

Extremely kind and welcoming staff! Exceptionally good Gin & Ginger Ale’s and the overall atmosphere is extremely relaxed and welcoming. We are in London for a quick trip but definitely making multiple trips throughout our visit.
