Called in for a quick pint, tue staff were friendly and patient while I couldn't decide what to drink. Only had a drink so couldn't comment on food service other than the menu did look appetising.

Lovely staff and the even have tall men and pretty barmaids. Food, maybe, but de finely drinks. Nice beer garden at the back. And an easy stagger to Stockwell Tube 5* thank you! Pete @peterwhites3

Like to try different pubs. Been a few times. Staff as great, very friendly, helpful and a good sense of humour. Ralph and William, you guys rock, thank you! Lots of food options and tasty. Outside garden area with plenty of tables. Never a bad atmosphere (staff react quickly to any negative). Quiz nights are fun and including. Good place. Recommended.

Good old fashioned boozer. Good pint of bitter. nice patio beer garden. Friendly bar staff. Good place to go after a day at the cricket at the Oval. Didn't eat but the food looked good

A “Local” that makes you feel like you are in your own living room!
A wonderful Tudor-like, dog friendly “watering hole” ie pub!
A stone-throw from the Elephant or Kennington Tube and definitely worth a visit.
Great, friendly staff! Great choice of drink and food, quiz night Wednesday and a Happy Hour from 4-7pm!

Pub atmosphere, pub food and classic pub service. The young guy in his tracky dacks behind the bar was casual but super polite. We came in for a Sunday roast after a long day on the tourist beat. Small town service in the big city! As we were the last dinner customers, some menu items were not available but what was available was basic wholesome English pub fare. Just what we needed. Thanks for having us.

Three of us had Sunday roast in this pub. The food was very good and well priced for London. The pub is spacious, with lovely rooms, and has a good selection of beers. This was topped with friendly service for a great experience. Will come back!
