A lovely and stylish shop. I visited EOTC to have my eyes retested after experiencing issues with my current glasses and eyesight. I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who took their time testing my eyes first with the latest technology which could detect any issues by Jeanne who was very thorough and knowledgeable. My eyes were then examined by the optometrist - Ting, who was equally thorough and knowledgeable. I was able to select a pair of glasses from a good selection with varying prices and opted for two pairs which I am extremely pleased with. If you want a personal service with people who know their product without the hard sell you get from the high street chain opticians then Eyes on the Common is the place for you. It was for me!

I took my three children to Eyes on the Common today for their annual eye check. Wow! The shop is stunning, elegant, really smart. The owner is so knowledgeable and kind. She was so helpful, considering I had three children with me, so considerate and understanding to the fact I couldn't be in the treatment room with one and the shop floor with the others at the same time. She even got out snacks, and activities for them and made me feel totally at ease! She was really lovely. The optometrist was also extremely kind, knowledgeable, professional, calm, patient and excellent. My children actually enjoyed the experience and I had such incredible service. I'd highly recommend. If you don't get your kids eyes tested regularly, it is highly recommended from the age of 4 so book a free kids eye test here and even one for yourself!

Jeanne is fantastic optician, warm, welcoming and child friendly. Eyes On The Common is across the road from Ealing Common Station. It is a spacious place , with all the latest eye technology. Mrs Ting Suri - Optometrist is fab and is adept at dealing with children of all ages. We will definitely be returning.

Saw Jeanne at 1pm yesterday. She is absolutely fantastic. Made the time go quick with some great conversation, has more life experience and knowledge than most of the optometrists in the big chains and I’d go back just for her! Have already recommended my family who are going to see her next week. The reviews don’t lie!

I’ve been to a good few opticians but let me tell you EYES ON THE COMMON are something else. The professionalism is outstanding and they really make you feel comfortable. Jeanne was very helpful and patient with my specific requests for my Purist silhouette™️ I can’t thank Jeanne enough for her being so kind and efficient with my order. I’m now a new proud customer. Absolutely fantastic experience. Jeanne is friendly and accommodating, even amidst the extra work needed to manage the restrictions in place. The optometrist was very good - spotted something that 3 other optometrists had not commented on - and the service was second to none. I found the store through a recommendation and have no hesitation in passing on the recommendation - in a day of impersonal optometrists where you never see the same person twice, this shop is a return to solid values and personal service. And if you are specific about your sunglasses, the shop carries the Tavat range, which you have to try to see the difference it makes in terms of clarity.
