The Tenten Kitchen

Found this lovely cafe today, one of the few that was open on Boxing Day. Once we arrived my boyfriend checked reviews on google and we read together all those bad comments you guys wrote, really stupid in my opinion. Staff was friendly even though was Boxing Day and was not really happy to be working probably, I work in a coffee shop my self and I know the feeling. I’ve seen the owners going to pick some fresh bananas next door to this lovely fruit and veg, just for the pancakes I’ve ordered. Orange juice was freshly squeezed in front of us and was amazing! Food was really tasty and you could tell they use proper ingredients. As I said I work in the same kind of environment and the place I worked it’s 3 times more expansive, good looking in terms of aesthetic and “hipster” , but I would like to remind you that the important thing about going to eat somewhere is the food. Doesn’t matter how many cactus and tame impalas playlist are playing if the food is good the place is worth it. Definitely will be back! Thanks guys X

Went here for breakfast and the buttermilk pancakes were incredible. I got them with the Cornish clotted cream and bacon and almost died from food happiness :-) I also found the staff to be very pleasant and caring. I'll definitely be going back. (Side note...their maple syrup is Canadian...Kirkland brand, incase you’re Canadian like me and are craving a little taste of home :)
