Chace Brasserie

I was very impressed with this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was well laid out and clean. I was here for a party in one of the function rooms and I have to praise the wait staff and the food was not only well presented but extremely tasty! My vegetarian friends were also praising their food as well. When going back to this area this is the hotel I would definitely choose to stay in.

We went here for lunch and enjoyed excellent, polite and attentive service. The food was freshly prepared and tasted absolutely delicious. Decor is comfortable and welcoming, especially the sofas in the bar area. I can't fault the food I've eaten at this hotel both in restaurant and bar. Consistently very good indeed and we will continue to visit.

My family used the Royal Chace Hotel for my mothers funeral wake. Jenifer from the events department helped us immensely, and we ended up choosing the Pavilion venue for the event. This venue set in the garden of the hotel was the perfect choice. Clean and airy, with a lovely view of the lawn, and the fountain. The banqueting manager Josie and her staff were all very pleasant, and also helpful to those present who were less able to stand. The food, which was pre-ordered, arrived on time, the portions were large, and was delicious. We all had a lovely time. My brother stayed at the hotel with his family, for two nights prior and after the wake, and he had no complaints (I asked). He enjoyed the bar area and the breakfast. The children enjoyed the swimming pool. Thank you to the staff for helping to make my mothers wake a pleasant experience.

Had an lovely evening at the RCH. Had a beautiful 3 course meal our waiter Andreas was amazing, Thanks Andreas. One other member of staff was not as friendly, shame. The rest of the staff were very nice and friendly. The restaurant and lounge area was spotless. Would highly recommend this hotel which I have stayed at along time ago and the restaurant to.

The room I stayed in was a little small but comfortable and cosy. The shower in the bathroom was too small, not enough room to shower in comfort. The toilet was also too close to the wall. Most of the staff at the hotel were friendly, food at the restaurant was expensive for what it was. But overall not a bad hotel, however I would not say it was a 4 star hotel as I have stayed in better 3 star hotels.
