Tombo

An adorable little cafe that has an interesting range of breakfast and brunch foods, drinks and desserts, and cute merchandise. Highly recommend for anyone that likes kawaii cute Japanese culture, and the food was really tasty! Friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. I went on Saturday afternoon and the wait was about 20 minutes which wasn't horrendous for a weekend!

I came across this place by accident. Was pleasantly surprised. It’s close to Tottenham Court Road Station, and it offers all things Japanese. Had a noodle bowl and matcha tea. It was my first taste of matcha, and I loved it. The place is super clean with such amazing staff. Service is quick too. Highly recommend.

Pretty good! The location of this Tombo cafe is a bit further out from the usual eateries but this helped with busyness. I ordered the classic tokio poké bowl with a iced salted caramel hojicha latté. The poké is nicely made with fresh ingredients and I enjoyed the salmon sashimi. The hojicha latté was tasty too, I really enjoyed this drink. For dessert I had a marble cheesecake and a hojicha sundae (they said there was an issue with the machine so I couldn’t order matcha which was very unfortunate!). The marble cheesecake was tasty and the texture was very fluffy but I couldn’t taste the matcha. The hojicha sundae came along with the two small mochi and was nice! Would I come back? If I could try the matcha then sure, why not?
