Though this may only seem to be a chippie it's more than that. You couldn't ask for nicer people who own and run it. You can always expect a warm greeting wither you are a regular or new patron. Yeah you may have to wait for your chips as tend to be cooked fresh but it's worth the wait plus you can chat about anything while you wait. We love going there every time

Such a lovely run place. Welcoming & kind owner was so accommodating when we asked if we could get seats there, as we had a family get together.

Got to say - this is the only place I’ve ever left a review for (so far).
In a part of town where everything is overpriced and underdelivered, Emily’s place sets the standard.
A meal is cheap, fast and tasty.
BUT, the that truly sets it apart is the staff. Table service in a chippy? Yes please. Good chat, yes please.
What more could you possibly want?
Easy 5/5. Can’t wait to come back.

Emily's is wonderful! The owners are welcoming, the restaurant is spotless, and the fish is cooked fresh and perfectly! It wasn't crowded, and we had a memorable time. Highly recommend. Oh, and very reasonably priced.
