Overall, we had a good experience at Flat Iron. Steak was cooked perfectly and the sides we chose were tasty. Also the extra ice cream at the end of the night is a great bonus!
My only complaint is that they add an optional 10c on to your bill per person for charity - I have no issues donating to charity but out of principal I’d much rather be asked before it’s added !

The food was good and the staffs there were friendly. They supplied free popcorn before the meal and ice-cream after the meal. The steak was delicious and good quality. Their service was quick and nice, especially the super kind waiter Oliver, he served me really well and he can even speak some Chinese which was impressive.

I’d like to give Oliver a big thumbs-up. He is so nice and funny , and guess what? he even can speak Chinese very well. 10/16 dinner was my last stop in London and thanks for very good serving I am so enjoy 😘

The flat iron steak was delicious, would definitely recommend getting the mashed potatoes on the side. Total flavour town. Staff were very helpful and kind. They also gave us free ice cream on the way out!

Reasonably-priced, tasty, and unique food. I really enjoyed my visit here. The steak was cooked rare just as I had asked, the side dishes were varied (the macaroni cheese was divine), and the service was great. The mushroom sauce was excellent for dipping, and I highly recommend the creamed spinach!
I like the fact that you receive a token with your bill that allows you to grab a complimentary ice cream in a cone on your way out, a lovely touch to end a pleasant experience here.

Always spectacular. The garlic and bone marrow mash is superlative as are the dripping chips and mac and cheese. Small but lovely wine selection and a free delicious ice cream at the end. An absolute must do in London with very reasonable prices.
Some locations take reservations, some don't and the flavour of ice cream varies with location. Usually salted caramel or vanilla.

We had an absolutely terrific experience at Flat Iron (Commercial Street). All of the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. In addition, we chatted with the manager and he went so far as to buy us a drink! Amazing dinner that made our trip to London even more enjoyable. Leaving with an ice cream cone was just and added bonus. We will be back for sure!

This location provides ample space, making it ideal for accommodating large groups. They offer a pleasant communal table, fostering a friendly atmosphere for socializing and meeting new people. As an added bonus, they provide complimentary popcorn while you wait for your food. The menu and service are consistent, ensuring no surprises and a reliable dining experience. If you're seeking a reasonably priced meat dinner, Flat Iron is an excellent choice. While I enjoyed the quality of their burger, I did find the patty slightly small in comparison to the bun size. Flat Iron is a fantastic choice for steak lovers looking decent price meal. To top it off, they give you a card to redeem for a serving of delicious gelato after your meal.

Delightful culinary experience with a fantastic Flat Iron steak paired with chips and crispy popcorn 🍿. The silverware is "creative"… you will get it by the photos 😁. The only thing I don't recommend is the "roast Aubergine" side, but apart from that, everything was fantastic and still deserves 5 stars. To complete the experience, the restaurant offers (really, for free) a refreshing ice cream cone that was so good that I forgot to take the picture 🤩

Flat Iron is one of my favourite steak restaurants in London. Great value for money.
Of course there are better steakhouses in London, but for £13 you really can’t complain!
Delicious steak always cooked as asked, and all the sides are delicious too. My personal favourite is the aubergine bake and the mash!
Really love the free complimentary ice cream at the end of the meal too.
Service is quick at this location and I was able to get a table without a booking very quickly.
