We recently dined here, last Saturday 23 October 2021. After living here for almost 9 years, we decided to go back to this beautiful area after some years away and revisit our favourite local curry restaurant.
So happy to find it still in the same place and run by the same family of over 50 years now!
We booked a table with it being a Saturday and we're greeted with a warm welcome. Lovely service, a quite small but beautifully presented dining area and wonderful food!
I would highly recommend the Tawa Chicken - delicious and cooked to perfection. I am still talking about it to friends.
Chatting to the Manjill family that evening and
reminiscing, I am so very happy that this business is still here and being enjoyed.
Wonderful menu, delicious food, great service!! We cannot wait to visit again.

Came to London for a wedding and we found this restaurant by chance.
My boyfriend gets a Jalfrezi every Friday and when it came out green he was a little put off but after tasting it he could believe how nice it was. Said it was the best curry he’s ever had! The staff explained to us that they don’t use any additives or food colouring and you can defo tell!
The staff were so friendly, the service was great, the restaurant is clean and has a lovely atmosphere and the prices are great.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a proper curry. We will defo come back!

Went to the Curry Manjill today with a friend. As soon as we entered we were greeted and taken to our table. I noticed the decor has been updated. It feels light and airy and inviting. We had garlic king prawn starters which were cooked to perfection, this was followed by the salmon bahar and dhaal sambar. The salmon was tender, moist in its medley of onion and sauce. My vegetarian friend enjoyed the dhaal sambar which had a bit of a kick. The three lentils in the sambar were cooked well. We had sides of cauliflower and okra bhaji which were lightly spiced but you could taste the vegetables. Will be coming here again. These small independent restaurants need our support, especially during these challenging times. Well done the Manjill team.

Best restaurant I have ever been to this restaurant is really amazing.the food is amazing I personally recommend the lamb sag and the desserts are amazing and if you are a fan of Indian cuisine this is paradise .

First trip in to Manjill's was a delicious one.
We had some poppadums and dips to start. Both were delicious and reasonably priced.
Things really kicked off with the mains though. The salmon bahar was delicious. The tandoori crisped skin on the salmon was super moorish, the kind of crisp that leaves you jonesing for more. The sauce; tangy, sweet and slightly spicy was a treat@ We also had the Padhinagosht, this was my favourite with the fresh minty lamb yet again seasoned to perfection.
Side of rice and garlic naan were on point. All in all Joe and the team could not of done more, the service was absolutely fantastic. Excellent recommendations on dishes, they offered to bring us a heater and in general made us feel super comfortable. Such a hidden gem! Will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful experience at The Curry Manjill tonight. Brilliant food and the loveliest staff I have met in a long time. For me it is not only the food and atmosphere of a restaurant that is important, but how you are treated and valued as a customer. Nadia and Joe are a wonderful couple and their passion for their family run business really shows. We moved to the area a few months ago and have been looking for a new local - I am happy to say we have found it in The Curry Manjill!

Had a wonderful evening with Jo and the crew and a big group of old school friends. Fantastic food from a wonderful local family business. Service was impeccable. Mind yourself on the cocktails!

I tried the Curry Manjill for the first time, having ignored it and thought it was just another greasy curry house. Boy was I taken by surprise. I ordered the Naga Lamb a new dish. Bengali it stated. I do love a Bengali lamb curry. It was the best curry I have had in years. Soft lamb, tasted all the spice and it had just the right after burn. AWESOME. Credit is due, where credit is due. Will have it again soon.
