Not a food review but an observation. I lived on Wandsworth bridge road for 20 years until the late 80’s. Recently I stopped on the street to see what hadn’t changed. Only 2 places remained unchanged, Anne May’s Antiques & Aurelia Chinese Takeaway. WhenI say unchallenged I really mean it. Everything is as it was the last time I exited nearly 40 years ago. I suspect they’ve not spent a penny on decorating. It truly is a time warp. Oh I lied, one thing has changed, the prices on the menu board. Aurelia, keep on keeping on.

We work in a local shop in the area and have been ordering lunch here for a long time. At least twice a week, food is fantastic, doesn’t taste oily, and very reasonable price menu, much recommended. Haven’t found good Chinese take away around London and this is a hidden gem in the area. We love their fried rice, soup and curries dishes.

First time visit and just want to say it was fab! The special sweet and sour chicken was lightly battered and delicious, and the mixed veg nicely balanced. I’ll be back!

A really decent typical takeaway. Wide range with a low price. The food was flavoursome and not too greasy. Great for a quick supper! Cash only however
