A nice small polish cafe and restaurant in East London. Food was reasonably priced and good portions sizes too! We had smalec, perogi's, schab w/ mash , mixed salad side, two coffees and a slice of choc cheesecake all for £24! Stuffed!

What a great find!! Our portions were very very generous and extremely inexpensive. The pork dish came with a salad trio of carrot salad, slaw, and home made sauerkraut. The pieroghi were delicious overstuffed bags of well seasoned meat sprinkled with bacon bits. Yummmmmmm!!! I could go on and on. . . . PS . staff is soooo nice.

I tried both the grocery store and the cafe. I kept buying their roasted bacon and the beers at the grocery. And enjoy the cake and coffee at the next door. Great value, friendly staff! Only pity is there is no power socket, which I think will drive away those whose phones are about to die or students who look for a inexpensive place to click their keyboards.

Never had traditional Polish food before and wasn't disappointed. I had the Beef Goulash and it was very nice. Also enjoyed the salad. Big portion couldn't finish it.

We go there every couple of months. Quality of food can vary but its never disappointing. Yesterday was delicious, sometimes its just good. This is not Michelin star high cuisine but for a café it definitely deserves 5 google stars.
The only thing we do not like is that they make you pay when you order, because of this they don't get a tip.

Hearty portions of traditional Polish food at this popular cafe/restaurant. This is the closest we've found in London to the 'milk bars' you get in Poland. The goulash in potato pancake was my favourite. I am a big eater and could not finish my plate so come hungry! Kompot is a sweet drink-think of a cordial that tastes like jam. We also enjoyed the mixed salad which comes with the meal. Meals are proceed between £7-11. Service is good, but note that you order at the till.
