I don't usually write reviews for the places I eat, but I think I can make an exception with this place. I have been to a few desert parlours in the past but the service and the food that I got here was exceptional. The staff were really friendly (a special shout out to the guy behind the till - cant remember his name). I had the cookie dough with ice cream and I must say it was cooked to perfection. They had a wide variety of ice creams (I would recommend the bubble gum ice cream) and my kid loved the waffles and Chicalate milkshake. I would advise anyone with a family to visit this place. Best desert parlour in the East of London by far

The location used to be a bank branch and they have kept the underground vault for more private seating. The only thing is down there there's not much ventilation and the floor got very slippery after some time. They serve Flora Tea which is an impressive display of green teas. The desserts selection looks great and taste good. Welcoming and nice staff!

I went with my husband and daughter and some of her friends and the girls ordered the cookie dough and my husband ordered waffles and they absolutely loved it and they said it was better than Kreams!!!! I must admit I tasted the waffle and it was gooooood... when entering you can smell the fresh waffles and makes the atmosphere even more welcoming and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.. I had a scone and cream and that was very tasty and the best part of my visit was the green tea !!! It was so well worth the price and look so pretty !! This is a family place and suitable for children without inappropriate music and crowd of teenagers .. I'm will definitely be coming back with friends and family

Went to Swirlys last week with the family. Have to say I had such a wonderful evening and the food was absolutely incredible. The waffles were so light and fresh. It was a very large portion and worth every penny. The cookie dough was one of the best i ever had and I couldnt believe how reasonably priced it was. Its in such a great location and parking was very easily found. It was so refreshing to meet the manager and owner who were so passionate about their food. Overall i feel they fully delivered to the highest of standards. Highly recommend. 👌🏽

Really tasty and sumptuous desserts. Been there a number of times now and the service keeps getting better. I'd recommend trying their waffles. They are actually very fluffy and light and for the first time i finished a whole one. Not like other places where its very heavy to digest. Maybe I am getting old. Also had a panini for lunch the other day. Really friendly staff and a well rounded menu. The decor is simply stunning as well. I have been told by staff they have the actual old bank vault downstairs which will be open to the public and for private parties.. So I cant wait for that to be open. Keep up the great work Swirlys!

This has got to be the best dessert place I've been to. Spotlessly clean, extensive menu, beautiful decor - couldn't fault it. The waiter who served us was really professional & actually knew what was on the menu & could advise. I definitely have a bit of a sweet tooth so I knew I'd enjoy my visit to Swirlys immensely We initially just wanted to try their milkshakes, but ended up ordering two crepes with a scoop of ice-cream to share as well. They have so many different things to choose from on their menu, we definitely felt spoilt for choice! Their portion sizes are absolutely massive and they're very generous with the toppings not that I'm complaining . The presentation on the plate was great, the crepes looked amazing and tasted even better. Great smiley and helpful staff who are very pleasant,accommodating and strive to please their customers. The owner is a very nice guy with lovely smile and introduced himself as Nas the service was perfect! Much, much better than Afters and Creams!

I got off the bus stop in front of the old Bank building yesterday and saw that a brand new dessert restaurant had opened up. I went in just to satisfy my curiosity and what a surprise I was in for. The decor was stunning and very pleasing on the eye. We were seated immediately and the place was heaving. I was told that they had just opened up on Sunday. i ordered the Ferrero Fantastico waffle with a Latte and the food came out a lot quicker than I expected as it was pretty busy. The service was great and the food was stunning. Ive never had such a more delicious waffle. It was very light and fluffy and had just the right amount of toppings. Really enjoyed it and Ilford High Road definately needed a place like this. The staff were all so friendly and the prices were very reasonable. The manager also mentioned that they will be opening up the downstairs which was the Bank Vault before. Cant wait. Will definately be returning. Thank you Swirlys.
